In this 3 day workshop we will do a deep dive into the basics of soldering. You will leave with an understanding of the tools used, techniques for heating, hardening, forming and soldering sterling silver. You will create a total of 6 projects, 5 will be guided projects and the final project will be your own design using the concepts learned during the course.
Class sizes are small. Only 4 students! So one on one instruction is easily provided. One of my favorite aspects of my workshops.
Friday, January 26 6-8:30pm : Create a ring shank. (Stacking rings!)
In our first lesson we will create stacking rings. The process is the perfect starting point for learning to solder metals and getting to know the equipment. You will make up to 5 rings so you can truly perfect the process.

This will be your opportunity to design and create your own piece of jewelry using any (or all) of the techniques learned over the weekend. I will be available to trouble shoot, review and guide you along your way. This final lesson will be your chance to test your new skills and fine tune your abilities while giving your creativity a chance to shine.
All materials and tools will be provided for this course. No experience is necessary and all levels are welcome. You will leave this weekend exhausted but with a full heart and a new set of skills to help kick start your new creative journey!
